What makes an entrepreneur? Is it the fame? The money? No. An true entrepreneur does not call themselves an entrepreneur but a dreamer, a visionarie who will not stop until their message is out into the universe. The best type of entrepreneurs are those visionaries wanting to spread their message with a socially conscience message. Take cues from NYC born and bred Natalia Linares of www.conrazon.me. She has worked in the programming office for New York’s infamous Summer Park as well as been the management coordinator for Latin Alternatives biggest names (Manu Chao, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, just to name a few). This young mogul is leading the latin alternative music/art scene on both coasts via her own management/p.r. business: “Conrazón = con razón (with reason) + corazón (heart, life, pulse)…is a banner for a new type of artist development for a much smaller, hyper-connected (and therefore BIGGER) world…”
She promotes artists that are classic examples of the multi-cultural identies in big metropilan areas such as NYC and Oakland. Her current clients include “Zuzuka Poderosa” and “Los Rakas” who are blowing up in the indie scene. Los Rakas have collaborated with big names such as Snoop Dog and our currently due to a tour at the infamous Shrine Auditorium in October.
With an Ivy League education she is out networking with like minded women who are taking a stand in promoting a better universe through team building and liaisons. According to her website “conrazón supports (in varying capacities) the development of artists and projects from throughout the Latin and African diaspora (which spills into US Urban sphere): ambitious artists/creators with roots, passions, complex multi-identities who are re-balancing the world with their amazing output and live shows.”
In an ugly world where being seen as a “brown girl” can be seen in a negative light, she has turned that label and used it as her forte to promote a bigger message than just her skin color and gender. Always promoting “Girl Power”, Natalia is a Fly Girl who understands the motto that “Together, we are unstoppable.
