Beyonce is anything but calm. Like true Royalty, she needs no introduction, a modern day Queen, she is the definition of “Girl Power.” Most know Beyonce as the entertainer, she is currently hot on the charts and on tour with her equally famous husband, Jay-Z, but as as her career progresses she proves she is more than just a pop star.
Following her latest visual album “Beyonce” she brought up a lot of attention from critics that claimed she was another pop star degrading women, with overt sexual lyrics. Like a true Fly Girl she responded by proving just the opposite. ‘Yonce is taking a more active role as a feminist, even writing an essay for "The Shriver Report', demanding equal pay for men and women, “Humanity requires both men and women, and we are equally important and need one another. So why are we viewed as less than equal?”
She is also currently an embassador for the “Ban Bossy” campaign that promotes leadership for young women via social media.
