I can reflect on this day like it was yesterday.. I woke up and it felt like the world was crying. It was horrible, my family was up and moving quickly about the house, phones ringing off the hook. Then i saw the TV, not knowing what was happening at that moment, or where this was happening.. my heart sunk, i sank and began to cry as i heard the world cry. The world was in an uproar; a million questions started to run through my mind. Were we at war? Was this really happening? How is this happening? Are we next? Are we safe? ...I wanted to scream STOP!!!! Help!!! Someone please, GOD please help these people. These are your people Lord, save them, please! None the less, being on the opposite side of the country in Los Angeles, California our family proceed with our lives as normal, my parents went to work, and i went to school. Nothing was normal however, school was a whole new expereience for me that day. There wasnt much school ciriculum taught that day, it was more personal, a real life experience. What i will never forget was, not going to school break or lunch that day, instead classrooms held places for prayer. We were coming together in a public school to pray for our country and the people on the east coast. Though my relationship with the Lord was nothing of what it is today, i went and i prayed in the best way i knew and cried. I pleaded with God to please help us and stop this violence and hate amognst one another. We are all his, we are all children of him, and in that we are one made from him of him. We are siblings, sisters and brothers in the body of Christ. In no way should one brother or sister take his own siblings life. From this day, theres not a day goes by that i dont admire, and pray over my city. I may not always understand all of his children, but i will forgive and love them. May we never forget 9/11/2001.

Join us in prayer.
