Who Are You? Wednesday| BE BEYOND WHAT EYES CAN SEE

Happy Mid-week! For the past couple of weeks i have been away from my home. What started off as work turned into a mini vacation. Im very blessed to have traveled to work to do what i love, and even more blessed to do it in a city that i have family to support me. I had the opportunity to work in Miami for the 2014 Revolt Music Conference, in wardrobe and production. The experience was just what i needed. This opportunity allowed me to push beyond my boundaries, and be confident in the craft i have been working on for the past few years. We have a tendancy to dream, wish, and ask for things beyond ourseleves. Which is a good thing, but when they approach us head on sometimes it can be intimidating. I have been praying about attending this conference, not as a guest as i was invited to, but as a employee. I needed the chance to prove to myself that i can travel, i can be placed in a variety of new situations, or circumstances with a variety of people and still be able to excute and thrive at the task at hand. But, how was i going to get there?.. when i looked at my circumstances, in that moement it looked like i can barely get down the street, let alone across the country. Somehow, i knew i was going to get there. Surely, with constant prayer, meditation, writing my vision down, sharing withmy support system; my confidence of going was coming in. Things started to come together as far as a decision... which wasnt easy between reality and my dream..but i kept positive and pushing. God was setting me up, friends jumped on board, money started coming in from previous jobs and before you know it was on the plane! I was out, wide open, and fully chasing after my dreams in fashion and career expansion. Taking a leap of faith that God would provide when i get there and this experience would be worth it all. You see i was doing something that didnt make sense on the outside, i wasnt making a lot of money, i was putting out more than i had, but what God had in store for me on this trip made perfect sense.You see when your faith is tested, you have no choice but to go and with that expereince you'll have no choice but to grow. God knew exactly what he was doing for me.. i was being stretched in my faith and shaped by my sacrafice. Nothing worth having comes easy. I wasnt just chasing after my Dream, God is preparing me for my Destiny and the only way i was going to tap into that was letting go of what makes sense, and trusting in him through what doesnt!

Jeremih 29:11 "he has plans to prosper you not harm you, plans for your future" hold onto your hopes, your dream and above all your faith. It will give you wings to fly beyond what the clouds can see.
