Who Are You? Wednesday

Do you find yourself conforming to situations and circumstance based on the opinions of others? Are you really who you think you are? Are you really who you want to be? Who Are You? When the world is not looking, when the lights are off, and the camera is down who are you? And who do you want to be? The opinions of other can be good to hear and also hard to bear. But the most important opinion is the one you have of yourself. I remember when i couldn't even think of a good thing of myself. I was broken, I was confused, I was lost in the opinions of others and didn't know now how to recognize myself on my own. I needed help. I needed guidance. I needed direction. I needed love. I started to think, who can love me without bias opinion; it wasn't my parents, it wasn't my friends, and It wasnt me. I couldn't even love myself, because my thoughts of myself were made up based on the opinions of others. I wanted to reteach myself, but how after I felt like i had been brainwashed all these years. Sitting alone one day, looking in the mirror, It was just me and my thoughts, until I drew near to a deep thought that would save me, and would change my life forever.

" though my father and mother forsake me, The Lord will receive me. Teach me your way, Lord; lead me in a straight path because of my oppressors ". - psalms 27:10-14

The only person who could love me more than myself, more than my parents more than anything and unconditionally was God. God loved me back to life again. Seeking him and his love and knowing that he knew me before this world! He knew me before I was in my mothers womb ( Jeremiah 1:5) He is the only one who can tell me, Who I Am, and Why I Was created. No one else, not even myself. "That is what God will do for you when you are born again—He will fill you up. The wonderful thing about the Holy Spirit is that He gives new life everyday.I wanted so badly for others to love me that I would do anything to get their approval." But, through his word, and time spent with Jesus I was nurtured, comforted, and guided to into a new perspective of myself and life. He was shaping and strengthening me back to life again. He gave me purpose, and focus on his plan for my life. Once you realize your life is not your own, and you realize your purpose is for him,once you take 'you' out of the equation; God will take you to a place beyond your wildest dreams. . Let go of things seen and let the unseen take you to a place you never been.Who you are, is beyond this world "Let us not be conformed to this world, but transformed by the entire renewal of your mind."- Romans 12:2
