The Road Least Traveled Leads to Only the Best of Destinations

Faith is, by far, not the easiest to demonstrate; neither is its best friend, patience. Even, faith the size of a mustard seed is difficult to master. However, our only option is to prevail. We must continuously, as a people, encourage the journey of our Lord. We must carefully discern who is to be in our lives, and who we are only supposed to learn, and move on, from. It is our duty as children of Christ to make our spirits available to understanding. Too often, we overlook our purposeful lessons, from God, and allow the ways of the world to awash our souls. Everyone beams with felicity at the things of this world, but quickly become demure when the time comes to speak truth and what is righteous- letting our brothers and sisters perish from lack of knowledge and trying ever so hard to keep up with our pride and images. A proactive covenant with the most high is important; because, upon the continuance of walking in the ways of the wicked, two thirds of the people will see the rapture as an imbroglio.

As my relationship with Christ has grown, my energy has greatly shifted from concern to insouciance. There is something about being able to willingly take the backseat in your own life, being perfectly fine in understanding that you are not directly in control of what happens, anyway. With a restored spirit, new attitude and way of life I’ve become an anomaly, in such a world. Back in July & August, I allowed my flesh to die, so that I may solely live in my spiritual realm; the 6 week journey was greatly intense and the most challenging thing I’d ever done. Keeping dominion over all my worldly temptations was not easy, in the slightest form. I realized how off balance, undisciplined, selfish, prideful, and full of the world I was. The journey was taken in a chaotic timeline of my life, but nonetheless I was able to complete God’s will, like a champion. As my spirit leaped past the finish line I immediately felt the renewal of my soul and began to see changes happening in the most mysterious of ways. My heavenly father began to use the enemy and people practicing ways not like Christ to reveal my blessings and answer my prayers- just as he said he would do in his word. I also started attracting things in my life that were direct reflections of myself; and every little thought, and second guess, were brought to light and made to be understood. I’d been blessed with insight, foresight, wisdom, and growth. But most importantly, I had created a healthy covenant with my Lord. Before I had done so, he knew me not, as his word also reads. Who wants to be known not, by God?

My journey had come to a bittersweet end. I knew I’d learned so much, but I had no idea the first step in utilizing all the spiritual tools I was given. I was stuck. I had no wisdom in HOW to apply those tools to my life, outside of the fast. This made me feel weak and like my fasting had been done in vain. Every aisle in my life suddenly needed a clean-up; my relationship, my friendships, my finances, my health- just everything. And, I couldn’t understand how after, I’d just spent 42 halcyon days, living in the spirit all these things could be going in such turmoil. Why was this happening? They were happening because I was still missing something. So, at this point in my life, my sole focus is on continuing to grow my faith in the Lord. Bingo! That’s it. Having faith and standing planted like the roots of a tree in spirit and following the laws of the lord is key! So, my current life mission is to try mastering faith.

So, I encourage all spiritual journeys and any established covenants with God. And, I may be found on Righteous Road, right off of DaughterofZion Lane.
