RUNNING....

She had been running for a long time. Running from a lot. Every time something confronted her she ran.

Capable of reading people and situations before they could even stand face to face. Fearful of what it may bring, she ran.

Denying people the opportunity to love her. In search of something that human beings could never even accomplish.

Putting expectations so high, that she couldn’t even reach. So why in the world would she think others could?

Well maybe she was just hopeful. That maybe someone would show up and see her soul glow through her outward appearance.

That maybe someone would pick up her broken pieces to help her repair the exhaustion of her heart. You know make her whole again.

But you know one day she’ll realize that the only love she’ll ever need, would be that of her Heavenly Father.

The strength of His love will hold her up in ways she could of never imagined. Her hopefulness will turn into contentment.

Her faith is what will hold her together. Developing her into the most beautiful, tenacious woman that you have ever seen.

The light of Christ will illuminate off her melanin skin. Welcoming the weak into Gods arms. Just as someone did for her.

She will change. She will grow. No longer will the calamity of life defeat her. Because she won’t worry about tomorrow. But live for today.

She is beautifully and wonderfully made in His image. She is strong in His love. The wisdom of His words sit on her tongue, forcing her to speak goodness.

She is Gods prized creation. She is you and I conformed into one. She is the product of my father’s son on the cross. She is Me.

“She shall give to your head a wreath of gracefulness; a crown of beauty and glory will she deliver to you.”

Proverbs‬ ‭4:9

Note: Prayers to those of us who run from God because of the things that people in our lives put us through. Sometimes we look to others for what only God can fulfill. I know some of us have been hurt in the most awful ways. We’ve lost the willingness to not only give love, but to accept it. I just want you to know that there is hope in Jesus. Please accept His angelic and incredible love. He’s just waiting for us to extend ourselves and ask for help. It is in our weakness that He is strong. Let Him make you whole again, and follow His lead. Whatever you’re going through, man or woman. Girl or boy, God is with you always and forever.
